We loved our experience, the kayaks were amazing - so cool to see everything swimming by underneath us. We were lucky enough to also see sting rays!
A visit to Goat Island is a must do if you're in the area; either on the transparent kayak or snorkeling (haven't done the glass bottom boat so can't comment on this). We had a mostly clear day, however when the clouds came over visibility was impacted in the kayak. Great team of people, who create an awesome atmosphere. Can get quite busy but this just adds to the 'good time' vibe. Absolutely recommend.
Thanks so much for the awesome review! 🙌 We're thrilled you had an amazing Goat Island adventure in our kayaks, despite the cloudy weather. It's great our team created that fun, lively atmosphere you enjoyed. 😊 Means a lot to hear you'd recommend Clearyak - I'll pass your kind words to the whole team, they'll be stoked! 🤩 Can't wait to welcome you back for more water fun soon! 🤙🛶

The lack of clear signage, poor organization, and inadequate safety measures made the experience frustrating and disappointing. With better coordination and staff assistance, this could have been much more enjoyable.
Hey Sara, Thanks for taking the time to share your thoughtsâIâm really sorry to hear your experience didnât live up to expectations. It sounds like we dropped the ball on a few key things that day, and I appreciate you pointing them out. To touch on your concerns: the lack of clear signage is something weâve been limited on since Goat Island is a small beach, and weâre only allowed a compact setup to keep the public space accessible. That said, I've reviewed and ammended the confirmation email we send beforehand with some more information to hopefully make this easier for people in the future. On the organization and safety front, we take safety very seriously so have reached out to you to investigate what you believe made it unsafe.

Great fun
Loved being able to look through the boat, especially at the kelp forests. It was only a small area that we could kayak in so a lot of time to try to catch the rays etc. People were friendly and lots of walk up rentals too.
