Fantastic time, boat trip well organised . Good kōrero about the island Walk to summit - track well maintained and bird song beautiful, The trip was a highlight for me. Great value
It was a rainy day but the experience remained stunning. We saw far more birds than we expected, though spotted kiwis are difficult to find —we didn’t see any. Our guide was very interesting, making the experience even more enjoyable. I recommend bringing good hiking boots to fully appreciate the trip, as one of the path to the top is steep and requires good grip. However, we saw more birds at the bottom of the island, so hiking up is not strictly necessary.
Enjoyed the intro to the day.
We loved our Kapiti Island trip. It sure helped that the weather was perfect. Had a very interesting orientation on arrival, plenty of time to explore and enjoy a swim. Heard and saw lots of beautiful birds.

Great tour provider and beautiful island
Amazing! The island and area is thick forest, so its beautiful and so easy to hear and see birds. The pathways are clear and the main track isn’t to hard - took us (4+6year old) 2 hrs with lots of breaks to reach the top. The tour group is very friendly and has alot of reo Māori and clearly respectful of the land and sea. Very imformative too.
